My goal for this project was not only to redesign the Good Housekeeping magazine but also to expand its target audience, especially readers from their 20s to 30s. The median age for this magazine is 47. While I was observing the magazine, I found it quite interesting and informative. Therefore, I wanted to redesign the layout, typography, and color palettes to make them look more playful and appeal to more audiences.
This project helped me learn more about editorial design. Understanding layout, choosing the right images and having a strong typographic structures are the key.
